Help us go from surviving to thriving

Every day is Match Day during the Fall Fund Drive!

We have had over $20,000 pledged before the drive begins to encourage our local community to support the station. That means that each day we have $5,000 to match! Wow!

Plus, we have some giving challenges from members to make the drive more fun.

Cookie Challenge: Bradly will match the gifts of those who share their favorite cookie and recipe with us! Up to $100.

Theatre kid challenge: KVan will increase her donation by $10 for every person who shares their favorite musical or play when they give on Wednesday. (Up to $100)

Rotary Challenge: Nick will increase his donation by $1,000 if 10 Rotarians make a new donation or increase their sustaining donation.

Would you like to make a challenge? Contact us!

Ray Troll Prints Raffle

Mr. Troll himself was generous enough to donate several rare, signed prints and a lovely book for KMXT’s Fund Drive. Every $100 donated will earn one entry into the raffle for a print or the book. Drawings will be held Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and each entry will roll-over into the next-day. The earlier you give, the better chance you have to win! There will also be a special drawing for our monthly sustaining members on Saturday to recognize your ongoing support.

Why give to KMXT?

Kodiak Public Broadcasting began 50 years ago with incredible support from the community and the state. In 2026, public broadcasting still lives and still matters to the people of Kodiak. The big difference is now we are entirely reliant on the community to keep journalism, music, and emergency communications accessible.

Years of state and federal funding cuts threatened to eliminate us, but you helped us survive. We are asking you now to help us get from surviving to thriving. We want to do more than "keep the lights on." We want to return KMXT to its heyday as a community and volunteer hub.
